Neko no Niwa is located along Boat Quay facing the river. Located on the in storey so please do look out carefully!
Be very sure to make a reservation before visiting the cat cafe! Darryll and I just went there without any reservation and there were no more slots left. The cafe is not very big, there's only the cat section and one section that people and sit and chill (1 table, 4 chairs?? i know right.) We decided to stay in the cafe for a little while (not being able to go in the room with cats) and ordered some desserts. To our surprise one of the staff came up to us and told us that we're able to go in as one of their costumers aren't able to make it. Lucky or what?!?!
Desserts are at a very affordable price (from $2-8)
Unfortunately when we entered, most of the cats are sleeping (through out the whole 1hour visit). There were about 2 cats that are awake but they are not as friendly as we all like them to be, (not friendly in a sense that they don't like you to touch them, not that they would bite or scratch you). The ones I got to pat are the ones sleeping hahaha.
So being unable to "cuddle" or pat them, most of the time when we were just taking pictures and sitting around. Basically you just pay $12 for an hour to sit around and watch the cats while they are sleep. ha.
When you enter the room, they would hand you a booklet that shows the do's and dont's, the profile of all of the cats in the house
Even though I'm a cat lover, I don't think I'll visit the cafe again (its quite boring) but you should at least visit it once for the experience or when you and your friends have nothing to do hahaha
